Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a hyped video game title that players can’t wait to get their hands on. We’ve seen quite a bit about the game in terms of what developers are taking inspiration from along with multiplayer. With multiplayer being the main component to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, it wasn’t a surprise to see the development studio over at Infinity Ward also use the component as a key selling point for their upcoming release. But, with that said, there is a campaign mode tucked inside which has yet to make its way out into the public.
The last we have heard about a campaign mode came from when a fan reached out to the game narrative director. While the developer only gave a slight nod back at the idea of a campaign trailer, it was only until today that a new tweet came out from the official Call of Duty account revealing when we can expect that trailer to launch. We got a few keynotes to take notice of such a the open beta, crossplay details and of course the campaign premiere.
We don’t have an official date attached just yet, but it does look like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have some type of campaign premiere announced at the end of September. This tweet doesn’t offer very much insight so we don’t know if we’re just going to receive a campaign trailer or anything else with the announcement, but just know that the campaign will be unveiled in some capacity before October hits.
Outside of the campaign, we’ll list down what the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare map charts out so far below.
