Days Gone released earlier this year and with it came some mixed reception but overall, the game seemed to have positive fan base attached. Now after a few months have passed, the development team over at SIE Bend Studio has announced that a New Game Plus mode is in the works. With it also comes two new difficulty modes giving players an incentive to jump back on their bike and attempt to survive another round of the post-apocalyptic world. Best of all, this mode is just a week out so you don’t have to wait too long before you’re able to enjoy the game all over again.
This announcement came from the official PlayStation Blog where Jeff Ross, the game director at Bend Studio, published a post. Starting on September 13, 2019, a new patch will be available that will include a New Game Plus mode along with two new difficulty options. With the New Game Plus mode, players will be able to go through the game once again with all of their earned weapons, bike upgrades, NERO boosters, skills, recipes, encampment trust, credits, and collectibles. Of course, to gain access to New Game Plus, players need to have completed the “I’m Never Giving Up” storyline.
Furthermore, two new difficulty options are being added in which are Hard II and Survival II. This will give players a bigger challenge than before and for you trophy hunters out there, new trophies have been added in the game modes for players to acquire. If you have yet to complete the game already, you have a week to enjoy it before the new modes are officially added in.
Currently, Days Gone is an exclusive PlayStation 4 video game title that can be purchased today. For those of you who have yet to check into the game, we suggest viewing our Before You Buy episode upload on the game posted above.
