Banjo-Kazooie Finally Joins Super Smash Bros Today

September 4, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

Fatal Fury is inbound plus more fighters are entering development.

When Nintendo first revealed Super Smash Bros., which is the latest installment to the franchise, it came with the reveal of a ton of fighters. Since then, Nintendo continued to unveil more and more fighters until it was revealed that every fighter that was present in the franchise history would be available. That means this particular installment to the series is the biggest yet, but that didn’t stop Nintendo from going even further by adding more fighters into the roster. It’s been a long wait but fans of the Banjo-Kazooie series is receiving the classic duo today.

Nintendo had previously revealed that Banjo-Kazooie would be entering the fight but it wasn’t until during today’s September 2019 Nintendo Direct presentation that we got word of its official release later today. This fighter brings in a new character for players to toy around with in order to decide if they just found their newest main to fight with. Likewise, this announcement during the Nintendo Direct came with our next fighter reveal, which is Terry from the Fatal Fury franchise, a game series that got its start back in the 1990s.

This means that there is just one more fighter yet to be unveiled for the DLC pack. Well, while that was true, it turns out Nintendo is still not with delivering new fighters into the mix. We don’t know how many more are coming, but Nintendo did state that additional fighters are in development so you can be sure other franchises will soon get the international letter to join in on the fun. While we wait to see who the fifth and next main fighter to join in the roster, what other franchise are you hoping to see represented in Super Smash Bros.?
