Gears 5 is one of the more anticipated Microsoft exclusives scheduled to come out this year. Players interested in continuing the story will soon get the chance as we’re gearing up for Gears 5 release this September. Because we are so close to hitting the release date, the development studio behind the project, The Coalition, has unveiled just how much storage space you’re going to need in order to play this game on either the Xbox One or PC platform.
When it comes to the fifth main installment to Gears of War, players will need to set aside 50.04 GB of storage space on the Xbox One platform. However, PC users will have to make quite a bit more room at a whopping 80 GB of free space. This is likely something already taken care of for those who have been waiting on this game to release in a couple of weeks.
Gears 5 will follow mainly Kait from Gears of War 4. As it turns out Kait has some type of family history that connects with the Locust lineage and it’s left her seeking out answers. Just where this takes Kait and how this will affect the overall story between the survival of humanity and the Locust horde remains to be seen, but we won’t have to wait too long to dive into the campaign. Right now, Gears 5 will be releasing officially this September 10, 2019. In the meantime, take a look at the latest trailer for the game posted above along with some screenshots from the gallery below.
