Mortal Kombat 11 released back in April of this year, but we already knew that the development studio over at NetherRealm Studios would be bring in guest fighters into the title. Just like past installments, there will be some guest characters added into Mortal Kombat 11 and one of those characters has been confirmed to be the Terminator. The iconic and classic T-800 is going entering the fight but it comes with some bitter news. While the character certainly fits the bill to be added into the roster for a Mortal Kombat game, it’s not going to come packed with the original voice actor.
This character will just offer the likeness of the legendary actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who portrayed the T-800 in the iconic Terminator movies, but the voice won’t be from the actor according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Hollywood Reporter got in touch with Warner Bros. Interactive who stated that the actor is not involved in the video game. Instead, the voice would be handled by a voice actor who can portray the accent and delivery from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s performance in The Terminator. Regardless, fans who are eager to take control of the T-800 likely won’t mind that the lines voiced is not from the original actor. For those interested in the T-800, the character will be available for the game on October 8, 2019. With that said, Mortal Kombat 11 is available for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Gamers can also expect a release later on the Google Stadia platform.
