Easily one of the most anticipated video game titles coming out in 2020 is CD Projekt Red’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. This open-world RPG is coming off of the developer’s trilogy success that is The Witcher so we there is already a ton of hype just from the development studio name alone. Since its initial announcement, we’ve been receiving plenty of trailer footage and gameplay details that have also been favorable from potential players. Now we have news that CD Projekt Red is bringing the game out onto the Google Stadia platform.
Google Stadia is a new platform competing against the likes of Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. However, unlike some the competition, there is a focus on streaming video games to the player which makes Google Stadia accessible on a wide variety of hardware. Speaking of hardware, because the game is being run by Google, the system requirements will not be a factor for players as long as they can keep a secure and stable internet speed.
With that said, if you don’t own a PlayStation 4, Xbox One or a PC capable of playing video game titles then you may find Google Stadia to be your best bet to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077. In this futuristic game, players will be taking on the role of a mercenary who takes on odd jobs to build up a reputation that may lead to the higher-paying gigs. After all, the game is set in a tough city where crime and corporations flourish so there’s always the need for a hired gun.
As for when you can get your hands on a copy of Cyberpunk 2077, the game will be releasing on April 16, 2020, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. Google Stadia is likely to follow soon afterward.
