Grand Theft Auto 5 has been experiencing a host of problems with its online component, GTA Online, since its launch earlier this week. That Rockstar has been working on fixing these issues comes as no surprise, and today Rockstar has revealed that the patch currently in the works at the studio will be ready as early as tomorrow, Game Informer reports.
The patch, which is being developed as a title update, will go live for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. Rockstar aims to correct a number of commonly reported problems with the game. With the patch, players can expect to be able to log on more smoothly and consistently, and not lose their hard-earned cars and property.
Here's what's in store to be fixed:
"Rockstar Cloud Servers Unavailable" error message
"Failed to Host a GTA Online Session" error messages
Errors saying "Timed out when matchmaking for a compatible GTA Online Session to join"
Errors about jobs failing to start or load
Misc. network and server-related error messages, disconnections, or cloud server errors
Errors saying "Mission Failed" as soon as the mission begins during a session
Long matchmaking load screens, eventually timing out after 10-15 minutes
Offline (disc-based) and online content mixing on the Jobs list
Ending up in a free-roam session with no jobs/markers on the map while playing as a temporary character during a cloud outage
