Remedy Entertainment Clears The Air With Official Control PC Requirements

August 6, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

It’s not as hefty as the internet had thought.

Remedy Entertainment is gearing up to release their latest IP into the market, Control. This video game is a third-person narrative-driven adventure title that puts players against a supernatural force. This has sparked quite a bit of interest from fans, but if you were predominately a PC gamer, the system requirements were rather scary. That apparently is not the case anymore as Remedy Entertainment uploaded the official system requirements to run this game.

The requirements that originally had some from Epic Games Store though it was false and now has been updated. This new list of system requirements are a bit easier to achieve from gamers and shouldn’t sway you from purchasing a copy online.

Minimum System Requirements
  • CPU: i5-4690/FX 4350
  • GPU: GTX780/R9 280X
  • RAM: 8GB
Recommended System Requirements
  • CPU: i5-7600K/Ryzen 5 1600X
  • GPU: GTX 1060/RX580
  • RAM: 16GB

As you can see the system requirements are not as demanding as the original reports that went up online. This should hopefully be a big relief for some gamers as we gear up for its release on August 27, 2019. Outside of the PC platform, Control will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
