There is still plenty of anticipated video game titles slated to release this year and one of those is The Outer Worlds. Obsidian Entertainment, the developers behind video games like Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity, a new RPG open-world adventure is in the works. In the game, players are going through different colonized areas within different planets. Likewise, being an Obsidian Entertainment title, this game will have a strong narrative.
So far the development studio has shown off various interactions you can have with the game. We don’t have a ton of information about the story just yet, but originally the game was confirmed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC platforms. However, that changed today as Nintendo officially tweeted out that The Outer Worlds would be releasing on the Nintendo Switch and offered a trailer to those who may have missed out on the game announcement.
Unfortunately, the announcement doesn’t appear to come packed with a release date for the platform. With that said, the game is slated to release on October 25, 2019, for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. In the meantime, if you would like to check out the latest trailer for the Nintendo Switch we have it embedded above likewise, below are screenshots of the game.
