Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Will Have Multiple Playable Characters

July 22, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

Looks like Goku is not the only character players will take control of.

If you’re a fan of the Dragon Ball Z franchise then you may already have tabs on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Being developed by CyberConnect2, this is an action RPG that will follow several events featured in the Dragon Ball Z storyline. While we’re still waiting for more information to release about the game, we now know that the game will feature a few different playable characters for players to take control as. This may come to a bit of a surprise as the game even focuses on Kakarot, which the name of Goku originally was given by his parents. Well, if you were hoping to enjoy the game as a few different characters then you’re in luck, so far we know of at least three other characters that players will be able to play as.

Recently, the V-Jump publication alerted its readers that the upcoming video game will feature multiple characters for players to go through portions of the game. In the article, readers are told that Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta will be playable. We’re not sure how much of this game will focus on the various characters or if we may see other characters confirmed to be playable. Regardless, this game does have plenty of time to go before its officially ready for the public.

Other questions that have come up online so far has been if this game will add any additional storyline to the series or if we will see jumps from event to event. Furthermore, we’re wondering if this game will progress past Dragon Ball Z and feature anything of Dragon Ball Super. For now, we have to wait and see if these questions are answered as we wait for the game to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime next year, 2020.
