The Xbox One controller will improve its existing triggers with the new Impulse Trigger technology. In Forza Motorsport 5, Turn 10 programmed these Impulse Triggers to rumble and provide feedback to each hand.
In addition to the controller rumble simulating the car's vibration and impacts, the triggers will simulate the feeling of the ABS or acceleration. Turn 10 wants players to feel different rumbling sensations which will train them to not over-steer or slam the brakes too suddenly. The combination of controller rumble and trigger rumble will provide the player with a variety of feedback while driving.
To see Forza Motorsport 5 in action, the latest gameplay trailer takes the 2012 Pagani Huayra into the snowy mountains of the Bernese Alps.
Forza Motorsport 5 will launch on November 22nd alongside the Xbox One.
