Sony says that they have yet to determine the full scope of the attack on the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services, which have left more than 75 million players without access over the weekend.
According to company spokesman Satoshi Fukuoka, Sony is performing a "thorough investigation" into the outage, which they blame on an "external intrusion" into the network.
The company has not yet determined if personal information and credit card numbers have been compromised in the denial of service attack on its network, but said that it would inform customers if that is the case.
The network remains offline, and the company has not released any new information about when the service will resume.
