Those of you who enjoyed the Batman Arkham franchise will get another chance to replay the games all over again with the new upcoming steelbook collection. It was leaked not too long ago on Amazon that a steelbook version of the collection would be coming though it didn’t receive any confirmation of the game legitimacy. That was until today when VG247 reported on Gaz Deaves, a marketing manager from Rocksteady, confirming that the collection is real.
According to VG247, the collection is coming out on September 6, 2019, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One within Europe. We’re unsure if this collection will release in other markets yet, but this will come packed with three video game titles from the franchise. Included are Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and lastly, Batman: Arkham Knight. That’s not all of the video games from the franchise but these are the Rocksteady-developed titles that were released on current generation consoles.
Additionally, gamers can expect that the titles included in this collection will come packed with all the previously released DLC. Again, as mentioned, there is no indication yet as if this steelbook edition of the collection will release outside of Europe. Additionally, this is not an item that Amazon states will be shipped over to the United States so if you’re really wanting this game then you may have to go through other avenues to purchase it from a reseller.
