Sony states that the PlayStation Network on the PS3 may remain offline for the next one or two days due to on-going network problems. While the company refuses to confirm the reason for the service outage, many suspect that the hacktivist group Anonymous is behind the on-going attacks against the company for its legal actions against George Hotz. Gamers intending to spend time this weekend with the PlayStation 3 may be forced to switch off and do something else.
