Watch Deathstroke in Combat in Batman: Arkham Origins, 100-on-1 Mode Showcased

September 25, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Deathstroke strikes a pose.

Deathstroke is one of Batman's leading nemeses in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins game from WB Games Montreal, and is in many ways Batman's equal. Whereas Batman fights for justice, Deathstroke fights for pay. They both use gadgets. One's a good guy, the other's bad. You get the idea.

Needless to say, he's got a big role in the upcoming game—not just as an enemy combatant to Batman, but as a playable character. Those who preorder the game now will receive the Deathstroke Challenge Pack, which includes to challenge maps and three skins for Deathstroke.

Today, Warner Bros released the following trailer to give us a sneak peek at the new 100-to-1 gameplay mode in Arkham Origins.

Interestingly enough, his fighting style is very different from Batman's, so playing him shouldn't feel like controlling a re-skinned Batman.

Arkham Origins is slated for an October 25 release on the PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii U.
