Games Media HQ has posted new trailers of Metal Gear Solid 5 running on both the PS4 and the Xbox One which you can see below.
Last week at the Tokyo Game Show Hideo Kojima told Eurogamer that the title may look a little behind other next-gen titles grapically. He said that for PS3 and Xbox 360 they were aiming for 30fps but 60fps on PS4 and Xbox One but cautioned that the Fox Engine was designed with current gen in mind.
"Fox Engine was created with the current generation in mind. Maybe with other games that are being created exclusively for next-gen it might look a little behind."
"Of course for the next generation the resolution and the lighting will look much better. Gameplay wise it will be the same – we're trying to make it as close as possible. The gameplay experience won't be affected whether it's next gen or current gen."
You can decide for yourself and see how the two versions stack up against each other in the trailers.
As mentioned, Metal Gear Solid 5 is being developed for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The title does not currently have a confirmed release date.
For the first time in the series Snake will not be voiced by David Hayter with 24 star Keifer Sutherland taking on the iconic role.
