A new trailer has been released for the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and has confirmed a winter 2013 release date for the title.
On the PlayStation Blog Square Enix product manager Adrian Chen wrote:
"It gives me great pleasure to announce that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is officially launching this winter. The team has been hard at work making this beloved game even more beautiful than before, so we’re thrilled with the progress so far. While you wait, check out our latest trailer, which we debuted at Tokyo Game Show this week."
The remakes are being released on both PS3 and PS Vita and the cross-save feature will be supported meaning you can resume playing on one where you left off on the other.
There will also be a specially released Remaster-inspired PS Vita in Japan. Anyone who pre-orders the game will get a free upgrade to the limited edition which includes commentary from the original games and an art book so long as stocks last.
Hopefully we'll get a more exact release date soon. You can see the TGS trailer below.
