Apex Legends Season 2 Will Begin On July 2

June 8, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s what we know so far.

EA may not have the traditional press conference on stage like previous years, but their livestream event is bringing out some news to the masses. We are finding out that the second season of Apex Legends will begin on July 2, 2019. This is a new season that will introduce a few changes that gamers may find familiar with Fortnite and how their seasons are set up. Likewise, we will see some additions to the game overall as well.

For instance, we know that this season coming up will bring out a brand new character known as Wattson. Watson or otherwise known as Natalie is a female electrical engineer and she is ready to take on the fight of her life. We even got a small teaser trailer for the character to learn more about her and you can view that trailer posted right up above. Likewise, we know that this new season will also bring in challenges for players to complete similar to how Epic Games handles weekly challenges in Fortnite.

A ranked mode is also coming for the game which will toss players into different ranked tiers making it a bit more of an even playing field as you hone in your skills. Lastly, there is also a new weapon that will be added into the game known as the L-Star, which you may know best from Titanfall 2.
