GameStop Germany has listed Uncharted for PlayStation 4 on its website although details about the game including its release date are provided and the price, €100.77, is almost certainly a placeholder.
At gamescom, Sony confirmed that Naughty Dog was developing an unannounced title for PlayStation 4. Earlier this week the studio's president Tweeted that the studio has received an additional 120 PS4 dev kits – each dev kit is reported to cost $2,500.
Naughty Dog has traditionally developed a new IP for each PlayStation generation with Crash Bandicoot for PS1; Jak and Daxter for PS2, and Uncharted and The Last of Us for PS3. However, given the massive success of Uncharted and The Last of Us (the latter broke PS3 sales records) it seems likely that the studio will continue to work on those franchises.
In August, Lord of the Rings actor Dominic Monaghan hinted at a "new Uncharted". In a recent interview Nolan North, who plays Uncharted protagonist Nathan Drake, said he "couldn't believe" the games he's seen running on PS4 adding that the console is "going to be pretty amazing".
You can watch North's interview below. North also played David in The Last of Us so it's possible he was referring to a sequel to the post-apocalyptic title although if you've played it, you'll know it's not too likely that the character will be making a return.
