Grand Theft Auto 5 is the fastest selling game in history in the UK with 1.57 million copies sold in the country in just 24 hours according to MCV.
GfK Chart Track reports that GTAV generated £65 million ($103 million) in the UK on launch day alone suggesting that the estimated worldwide revenue for the game during its first month of $1 billion is certainly achievable.
Rockstar has broken the record set by Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops which sold 1.41 million units in the UK in November 2011 raising £58 million ($92.6 million).
