With an announcement from out of the blue, Daybreak Games have announced that their 7-year old online MMO title — DC Universe Online will be heading towards the hybrid home and on the go console the Nintendo Switch!
This is very surprising due to the fact that the game has been relatively quiet for the past couple of years. However, this is a great title for the Nintendo Switch due to its portable use; the only caveat is that its an online game so unless you have wifi or something, the game will be hard to play. But the pickup and go functionality of the Switch would be perfect for the game, in my opinion.

Daybreak’s executive producer Leah Bowers on the exciting new announcement:
“Bringing the game to the Switch was something that’s very close to my heart. Nintendo was the first console I really connected with; and yet, I associated the brand with first party or platform games. But when the Switch came out, it blew my mind and highlighted the possibilities that were there.”
DC Universe Online for the Nintendo Switch doesn’t have a specific release date at the moment, however, with E3 2019 a month away, we could potentially get one sooner than we think.
