Dishonored, the 2012 first-person blockbuster from Arkane Studios and Bethesda, will catch its second wind this fall. The Game of the Year Edition started its journey through the rumor mills months ago, but the official word has finally been delivered via the Bethblog, and anyone interested can expect to pick up the critically acclaimed project Oct. 8.
Retailing at the cool price of $39.99, consumers will see the entire core Dishonored campaign as well as all of the game’s DLC in this boxed release. That includes The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches, Dunwall City Trials, and the add-on pack Void Walker’s Arsenal. The bundle will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
Our review called Dishonored “a remarkable achievement in game development,” which includes a fully realized world “both in terms of atmosphere and graphical prowess.” Some of the most recent DLC is said to rival what the original content brought to the table, so if you’ve yet to see or play one of the biggest surprises of last year, mark Oct. 8 on the calendar and remember that this generation of consoles is far from over.
