Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call taps onto 3DS in Japan for 2014

September 10, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call launching on the 3DS in Japan.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will arrive on the 3DS in Japan sometime next year with new content and modes.

Last week a trademark application hinted at a new release for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy called Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. A scan from Japanese magazine Jump, announced the new game release for the Japanese market.

Curtain Call will bundle over 200 songs, including songs from Final Fantasy 14 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13. To help form the most effective team for the difficult Expert level songs, players can choose from over 60 characters spanning across each Final Fantasy release.

To show your domination and skill, Curtain Call will include a new Versus Battle Mode for rhythm based multiplayer.

No official announcements for the North American or European release followed the Japanese reveal, but expect the game to launch sometime next year on the 3DS.
