Former 343 Industries lead project designer on Halo 4, Scott Warner, has joined EA Viseral which is known to be working on a Star Wars project.
Making the announcement on Twitter he commented:
Today I'm starting work as a Design Director for Visceral Games. Excited.
— Scott Warner (@scottfeed) September 9, 2013
Warner joined 343 in 2009 before which he served at the now defunct Pandemic Studio – which was also part of EA – as well as three years at Black Isle Studio.
Visceral's last game, Dead Space 3, failed to meet EA's sales expectations but is "not out of rotation" according to labels president Frank Gibeau.
It's unclear what Visceral's Star Wars game will be but it is being developed for next-gen platforms on DICE's Frostbite 3. In other changes at EA, Matthew Bromberg has been named as head of the BioWare label.
343 Industries meanwhile is currently developing Halo 5 for Xbox One.
