PS4 vs Xbox One Packaging Compared

September 8, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

In which we compare the packaging of the PS4 and the Xbox One.

Images of the boxed package containing the PlayStation 4 has surfaced ahead of its release this November. In this post, we'd like to take the opportunity to compare the packaging of the PS4 to the Xbox One's, which was revealed not too long ago.

The packaging of the Xbox One appears to be in all black, veering away from the green and white look of the Xbox 360. In all, it's very minimalistic and has nothing in the way of texturing to distract from the device itself.

By contrast, the packaging for the PlayStation 4 looks very busy. It's in blue and white and features an image of the device itself on the front. Images of activities and PS4-exclusive titles like Killzone Shadow Fall and Drive Club can be seen on the side.

Which packaging do you prefer?
