Nintendo Lowers Prices of Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Bros., Wii Sports Resort

September 6, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Three Wii Nintendo developed games drop in price.

Nintendo games rarely go on sale. In some cases, they will follow the Mario Kart DS route and even increase in price over time. Today Nintendo announced that three new games will drop in price to reach more affordable MRSPs.

With the slow, but increased rate of Wii U game releases, Wii U and Wii owners can purchase Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Wii Sports Resort for the new price of $29.99.

Even with Cat Mario on the horizon, very few Nintendo games even come close to matching the great level design and creativity of Super Mario Galaxy 2.

The three titles will join line of discounted Nintendo Select titles which also saw their prices dropped. The list of Nintendo Selects included the first Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario and many other titles.
