Ubisoft has released a new gameplay video for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag showing some of the things players will be able to get up in the expansive open world.
Game Director Ashraf Ismail talks us through the game's Caribbean setting and the many locations which players can choose to explore. Among the activities shown are tavern fights, underwater shipwrecks, harpooning, and visits to smugglers' caves.
Ubisoft says there's an "endless" open world on offer. We see what happens when pirate hunters come looking for Edward's ship, the Jackdaw, and the Assassin entering a smugglers' den through an underwater wreck but Kenway is forced to use stealth as he couldn't bring weapons while swimming.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is set for release on PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on October 29th in North America and October 31st in Europe. The PS4 version will launch on November 15th (Nov 29th in Europe) and the game is coming to Xbox One on November 22nd. A PC launch date is yet to be confirmed.
