Between your stealth actions and device hacking, Aiden Pierce can also aimlessly wander the Chicago-inspired streets in the Watch Dogs.
While most gameplay Ubisoft demonstrated involved already set mission objectives, this gameplay video shows the free-roaming portion of Watch Dogs where the player can make their own objectives. Most cities in the world of Watch Dogs rely heavily on computers and electronics to monitor the city. Using the central control stations called a ctOS, Aiden can hack into devices surrounding that district's ctOS.
Using his hacking capabilities, Aiden can also access devices connected to the free-wifi hotspots placed all over the city. Hacking the hotspots allows him to access computers, phones and even bank accounts. Since Aiden also carries devices, other players can hack Aiden. Towards the end of the video you will see the seamless transition into multiplayer that allows you to hack other players or eliminate any hacking threats.
