Similar to the way Epic Game’s handle Fortnite’s season, Apex Legends players will begin to start earning new items, unlocks and more when season one debuts tomorrow. The battle royale genre is very competitive right now, but it seems that Respawn and EA’s latest take on the genre is paying off pretty well and with a new season beginning, this could even add more fuel to the fun!
Fans should also get excited for the brand new character who is set to join the game, Octane. He’s a speedster that could give up health for speed, has a launch pad ultimate ability, and much more.

Meet Octane
After blowing his legs off in a record-breaking gauntlet speed-run, Octavio “Octane” Silva is diving into the Apex Games with metal legs and even bigger ambitions. He’s searching for the ultimate adrenaline rush by using his death-defying moves to become an Apex Champion.
His Adrenaline Junkie ability lets him trade health for speed, and an endless supply of Stim health regeneration means he’s always ready for action. His Launch Pad Ultimate Ability lets his squad fly through the air with the greatest of ease. Jump into Apex Legends and play Octane tomorrow!
In addition to the new character, Respawn went into detail talking about their new Battle Pass system. Similar to Epic Game’s Fortnite Battle Pass, players will be rewarded with new items, unlocks, and much more. Check out what they had to say about the pass down below:
