Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst Coming This October

September 3, 2013 by Ryan Parreno

European dates announced on top of US dates, different content available on different versions.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3’s upcoming DLC, Full Burst, has now been confirmed to arrive October 25 on Europe, on top of coming October 22 in the US. Fans can opt to buy a new physical disc or DLC for their existing copies.

In Full Burst, a new story will be explored involving Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha forming an alliance to face Sage Mode Kabuto, who will now become playable in Versus mode. Full Burst also boasts of 100 new missions and improved cut scenes all around.

For those unfamiliar with the show or videogames, Naruto is a long-running manga and anime series involving young ninja training, growing up, and now taking charge of the various ninja clans. The series is known for its character development and thrilling fight sequences.

The Naruto video games have themselves been in production for over a decade, with the recent developer, CyberConnect2, constantly earning the newer games accolades and constant perfect and near perfect scores from fames Japanese game magazine Famitsu.

Fans who buy the Day One Edition will get even more bonuses, in terms of five high-resolution glossies culled from the game’s most epic moments. On the other hand, fans who go for the retail version can get an additional 38 costumes.

Full Burstwill be available on PC via Steam, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. I can’t say that there appears to be a definitive version of even this edition, given all the exclusives all these different versions offer, so if you’re a fan, choose wisely. You can also check out the Japanese story trailer below.
