EA and DICE’s online Star Wars shooter, Battlefront 2, has received a new update that has finally brought a long-awaited character to the game and his name is Anakin Skywalker!
Anakin has been a long-requested character since the first title released, but with no prevail. Finally, EA and DICE have heard the fan requests and added our beloved anti-hero, the chosen one – Anakin Skywalker. The developers have been pretty solid on its free DLC characters for Battlefront 2; we have already saw some great additions such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, and Count Dooku.

Anakin is in his iconic black Jedi robes, but he also has another iconic look that can be purchased with in-game currency. In addition, a new set of Clone Troopers are also added into the game. Anakin Skywalker is wearing his Jedi Knight outfit by default, with the Jedi Robes as an unlockable alternative. Led by him during the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion is joining the ranks of the Galactic Republic as new clone trooper appearances, too. The Coruscant Guard, missioned with peace keeping on the capital planet with the same name, arrives with this update as well.
