Both Final Fantasy 15 (XV) and Kingdom Hearts 3 are poised to make appearances at this year's Tokyo Game Show (TGS), which takes place on Sept. 19 to 22. [Source]
The games' appearances are expected to contain new footage beyond what was already showcased earlier this year at E3 2013.
When Kingdom Hearts 3 was first announced, it was revealed that Sora would once again be returning as its protagonist. Continuing from the events of Dream Drop Distance, Sora, Donald and Goofy must attempt to search for the seven guardians of light and the "Key to Return Hearts", while King Mickey and RIku search for previous Keyblade wielders, in an attempt to stop Xehanort's plan to balance the light and darkness.
Also making appearances are Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy 10 & 10-2 HD, and Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn.
This is all according to Square Enix, which released its TGS lineup today for would-be attendees. It's not known whether the games will be showcased to the public or whether they'll only be available behind closed doors to a limited audience.
Here's everything else Square Enix plans to bring to the event, which includes games from other Western publishers like Bethesda and Activision.
