If you enjoyed the Hitman video game release back in 2016 then you won’t want to miss out on its sequel. Hitman 2 continues on with the narrative journey left off in the previous installment. Players will once again step into the role of Agent 47 where he will be taking on contracts and killing off the designated targets. However, the overall goal in Agent 47’s mind is taking out the Shadow Client from the previous video game storyline. There is also another change up from the past title and that this time around players will not have to deal with an episodic release. Unlike Hitman, Hitman 2 had a standard video game launch with the entire game being available right from its release. But, if you’re still unsure if the game is right for you then there is a new option that will allow you to get a bit of gameplay to try out.
The development team who brought out Hitman 2, IO Interactive, has released the first mission for anyone to try out. This will be a completely free download in what is known as the Hitman 2 – Free Starter Pack, a download that will give the game’s first mission for players to explore and complete. For those of you who haven’t played or watched streamers go through the game, this first mission puts players in an Oceanside property where they must take out select targets without causing a scene. It’s worth noting that this won’t be the only thing available for gamers who decide to download the starter pack.
Apparently, the development team will also let players in on the fun when it comes to Elusive Target missions as well. These are timed events where players must track down and eliminate a specific person within the game. The Elusive Targets are put on by the development team and gives you another reason to jump online and try the game out when you have the chance.
If you decide that the game is for you then Hitman 2 can be purchased in full for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
