It’s almost here, folks. This year’s NBA 2k14, which features star player LeBron James as the cover athlete, is hitting the Xbox 360 and PS3 Oct. 1. A fresh gameplay trailer has just been released to show all of the current-gen moves in action, as well as the new control scheme that makes use of quick, repeating motions with the right stick.
The video, which can be seen above, is set to "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy. It’s just one of the 20 tracks that was chosen by both the fans and James, but if you don’t care about the music, there’s plenty to see in terms of actual basketball moves from some of the NBA’s biggest and best players in the trailer.
However, we’re yet to witness what the game really looks like on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Since Microsoft’s box hasn't yet been given an official launch date, any sort of information on the next-gen versions of the sports title is scare. You can expect a similar (if not identical) content offering from 2K later this year on the new hardware, but for now, look forward NBA 2K14 on the consoles you have right now.
