Black Ops 2 Updates Removes Dive-To-Prone And Invisible Items Bugs

August 22, 2013 by Ryan Parreno

Updates hit Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Treyarch’s latest updates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 fix certain bugs connected to the Dive-to-Prone move and invisible items.

To be specific about invisible items, items that players would pick up for an extended period of time would inexplicably turn invisible when thrown.

Dive-To-Prone, also called Dolphin Diving, allows the player to go low immediately in the middle of sprinting. The move is particularly useful when turning corners wider than 90 degrees.

Treyarch found issues with Dive-To-Prone, particularly in the Buried content. For example, players where cheating by using Dive-To-Prone on a fence outside the Church, letting them free from zombie attacks. They also get stuck at the bottom of the slide when using the move.

Interestingly, neither the Wii U nor PC versions of the game received this upgrade. Is it because these issues are missing on both versions, or they prioritized the two consoles? For a full list of fixes, you can read below:
