Following the reveal of Killzone: Shadow Fall's multiplayer at Sony's gamescom press conference yesterday, which you can see above, it has been announced that the game's DLC map packs will come free of charge.
The game's developer, Dutch studio Guerrilla, confirmed that Sony has "extensive plans" to support Shadow Fall after the game's release. Thankfully however the slew of maps set to be released will not cost you a cent.
Shadow Fall will ship with 10 maps and it's unclear when the DLC will be released but Guerrilla noted that it already has some of its staff working on expansions which suggests the wait won't be too long.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is a PS4 launch title meaning gamers in North America will be able to pick it up on November 15th while European players can take on the Helghan from November 29th.
The game was revealed at the PS4's announcement event in February and is set on the planet of Vekta 30 years after the events of Killzone 3.
