We reported earlier last week that Bandai Namco has announced a brand new Dragon Ball video game. However, unlike some of the more traditional fighter titles such as their latest and critically acclaimed, Dragon Ball FighterZ, this upcoming title will be an RPG. Not much of information was since released out into the public so just what this RPG will be based around remains a mystery. Now a new tweet sent out from the official Dragon Ball Twitter account has brought up this upcoming anticipated RPG title.
Dragon Ball Project Z is an action RPG title but other than the project code name and announcement that it’s in development, we didn’t actually receive any other information to go off on. Today a new tweet which was translated by Gematsu, showcased some more teases about the upcoming title. According to the tweet, the Dragon Ball Project Z RPG title will depict a never before expressed, nostalgic, and new Dragon Ball World.

Outside of the text, there was one render image released which showcased a younger Goku and Gohan which could indicate that this game will take place early into the Dragon Ball Z series though that is purely speculation. Fortunately, more information and a proper reveal are set to take place during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals on January 26 through January 27, 2019. Perhaps we’ll finally get some questions answered about the game such as its official name but for now, we’ll have to sit back and wait for the tour finals.
