Saiyan Island has acquired new new gameplay footage and interviews with developers at Namco Bandai working on Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z.
The first interview features gameplay of Goku and the Z Warriors taking on Nappa and a group of Saibamen. There is also brief footage of some of the menus and character customisation screens. While there is no character creation in Battle of Z system in Battle of Z players will be able to alter the look of exisiting characters with different colour clothes, for example.
The second video is an interview with Kunio Hashimoto, the producer of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, who discusses the game's multiplayer component and story mode.
Hashimoto notes that the story mode covers the Saiyan and Frieza sagas, however, Super Saiyan God Goku has been spotted in the promos and Ultimate Gohan appeared on a menu screen so it's possible he was simply referring to what's been confirmed so far.
Finally, there's an interview with Jason Enos of Namco Bandai Games America who sums up what we know about the game so far.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is set for worldwide release later this year on PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita and you can watch all of the interviews on Saiyan Island.
