Kalypso Media today announced the fifth entry in their city building franchise, Tropico 5.
Tropico 5 will incorporate a number of new features alongside the addition of more obvious in-game aspects. When building your cities, players must explore beyond the fog of war to scope out the land for potential city spots. Once established, a variety of new buildings and resources will help modernize your cities and bring them into relevancy. Players can also set trade systems to import and export any goods.
As your cities enter new eras, players should aim to carry on their legacy to create their own Dynasty. You can assign members of El Presidente's family to key roles. Each family member's contribution in key leadership positions will reward the player with new skills and experience.
Tropico 5 will launch in 2014 for the PC and Xbox 360
