FromSoftware Has Two New Video Game Projects In Development

December 28, 2018 by Dennis Patrick

Two secret projects are currently in development.

One development studio, in particular, has confirmed that they have two video game projects in the works at the current moment. From Software is a well-known video game development studio who has brought out several franchises such as the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne. In a recent interview with 4Gamer.net, we are finding out that the developers are working on some exciting new video game titles but we’re unsure just what’s coming down the pipeline yet.

The development studio president, Hidetaka Miyazaki, spoke to 4Gamer.net and it was during the conversation that we learned of two projects are currently in development. The developers are working on the upcoming release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but outside of that upcoming action-RPG title, there are two additional unannounced video games. With that said, we didn’t get any fine details quite yet on just what the developers have cooking up.

“While it isn’t the time to discuss details, they’re both [From Software]-esque games. We’ll need a little more time, but we’ll be able to tell everyone more about them once they take shape.”

Already fans online have been chiming in with their hopes of various sequels or new installments to past franchises such as a Bloodborne 2. Seeing how that these games are not ready for any sort of reveal may be a good indicator that these projects are early into the development process. After all, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice should be the main focus over at the development studio as its coming out on March 22, 2019, which is quickly approaching.

While we wait for the appropriate announcement to come out for these two video games, we can begin to speculate just what the developers have in mind for an upcoming release. As mentioned, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is coming out next year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and lastly, PC platforms.
