Gameplay videos of Battlefield 4 have been surfacing in surprising numbers over the past few weeks. With BF4 being so close to release, we expect that we'll only see more footage as we near the game's October 29 publishing date.
For now, we'll have to make do with gameplay videos provided by the gaming community's loyal fan base. A couple of new videos uploaded to Youtube recently show a few new elements of the BF4's multiplayer side.
The first of these shows vehicle warfare, new camouflages and more. Don't be thrown off by the repeating footage, as it all features different information:
The second and more interesting of the two shows one of the game's new weapons, as well as the new Frostbite Engine's destructible environment. While this has always been a feature of Battlefield games, the effects created are even more spectacular here.
These videos show a Battlefield 4 that is slowly but surely making its way to "gold" status, which means that the title has finished development and is being copied for retail. While this event might be getting closer, we won't know it until it happens. Our advice is to get into the beta and try the game out as quick as possible, if only to try before you buy!
Thanks to Youtubers TheWestie4321 and MattTheMusketeer for making these videos available. It's people like you two who keep excitement for games like BF4 high!
