With his attention currently focused on the Western film, fans can begin to wonder where production for Metal Gear Solid 5 currently stands. With the game currently slated to launch sometime in 2014, his current role on his Western film could signal his completed work on Metal Gear Solid 5.
Kiefer Sutherland will take David Hayter's spot as Snake's voice actor, but Sutherland will also participate in motion capture sessions for animations in the game. Unlike only voice acting, motion capture requires much more time commitment to complete. With development of the title long underway, Sutherland's work on new projects might mean the nearing completion of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will launch on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3.
