Obsidian Entertainment Next RPG Will Be Revealed At The Game Awards

November 28, 2018 by Dennis Patrick

Tune in The Game Awards for the grand reveal.

Obsidian Entertainment is a well-known video game development studio that has crafted up a number of RPG titles. Within the mix of developed titles the company was responsible for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and the Pillars of Eternity series. There are of course other RPG titles developed under Obsidian but most recently the company made headlines when the studio was acquired by Microsoft earlier this year.

Now gamers may be wondering just what is next from Obsidian. We won’t have to wait very long as news has started to spread online that the company is preparing to make their next video game reveal during The Game Awards, a ceremony that is taking place early in December. This announcement came in the form of an advertisement that the official Obsidian Twitter account posted about.

Hmmm… anyone else getting those ads on https://t.co/i158nrCxBL???

When you enter Obsidian’s official website, you will receive an ad for an old-timey company known as Auntie Cleo’s. This advertisement also showcases bread, skin crème along with other products but there’s nothing that really gives anything away as to what the next RPG adventure will be about. What we do know, again as mentioned earlier, this game will be unveiled during The Game Awards.

If you tune in to see The Game Awards which takes place on December 6, 2018, then you’ll find out just what the development studio has in store for gamers. There is likely an assortment of other new video game announcements and teases scattered throughout the event to keep you watching entirely.
