Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Now Officially Gold

November 14, 2018 by Dennis Patrick

No delays inbound for the upcoming Super Smash Bros game.

One of the most anticipated video games for the Nintendo Switch that’s still slated to release this year is the latest installment to the Super Smash Bros. franchise. Known as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate the video game is slated to be the biggest entry yet. For those worried over Super Smash Bros. Ultimate being delayed into 2019, that fear can be laid to rest as the game has officially become gold which ultimately means that this title is ready for discs to be pressed and sent out to marketplaces all over in time for the holiday season.

The video game was teased earlier this year where Nintendo slowly released new details regarding the game for fans through the series of their Nintendo Direct video uploads on YouTube. It’s through these video uploads that we learned that not only will we see iconic characters from previous video game installments, but we would see all of the characters featured in the previous Super Smash Bros. roster along with a few brand new characters.

Outside of the video game roster characters, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature a campaign for players to go through. Within the campaign, we know that players will be starting off with Kirby as they attempt to fight off evil counterparts of the character roster in order to revive his fallen breather of fighters.

Currently, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be released on December 7, 2018, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch platform.
