Total War: Rome 2 Screenshots Readies Formations

Creative Assembly released another batch of screenshots for their upcoming strategy game, Total War: Rome 2.

The below gallery of screenshots captures a variety of moments while in battle and from more cinematic angles. While lining up in single file lines didn't reflect the best military strategies ever conceived, it worked at the time.

While these screenshots show numerous environments, none of the screenshots show the quietly announced addition of dynamic weather. The final build should include as system to cycle through multiple seasons and weather conditions. With the subtle announcement on their Facebook page, Creative Assembly remains quiet on whether or not these different weather conditions will affect units in battle.

Total War: Rome 2 will launch this year on September 3rd.
