505 Games and Overkill have released a new trailer explaining what the Safehouse is in their upcoming game, Payday 2. Watch it above.
The Safehouse is essentially your base of operations. It acts as a place to keep all of your stolen cash and hauls and allows you to try out the numerous gadgets that you have to use throughout the game's various missions without the pressure of having cops put a bullet in your face.
It serves as a tutorial area as well as a base to mark the progress that you make in Payday 2 as you play the game.
Payday 2 is set for a PS3, Xbox 360 and PC release on August 13. That's right around the corner.
