4J Studio has responded to inquiries regarding its work on the Title Update 12 (TU12) for Minecraft on the Xbox 360, stating that it’s still hard at work on bug-fixing and making sure everything is in order for the patch’s release, which is due very shortly.
According to 4J, which posted an update on Twitter, the patch is firmly on course for Microsoft certification, so that means it’ll be out really soon. Here’s what they wrote:
We're still bug fixing TU12. We will tweet when it goes to MS Cert Test, so no need to keep asking 🙂

The patch is set to see the inclusion of texture pack support, a build height increase of 128 to 256, the jungle biome, a host of new blocks, the iron golem, and the ocelot and cat tameable pets. We last wrote about it here.
