While Turn 10 continues development on Forza 5 for the Xbox One launch, website job listing and employee porfiles suggest another Forza title in development at Playground Games.
On the careers page on Playground's website, multiple job listings indicate that the studio prepares for development on another Forza title. With over 15 job listings looking to fill spots for artists, designers and even mobile development, the studio appears to look towards preparing for a larger project.
Some of the listings include a position for a Car Handling Designer. The position would require knowledge on how cars handle in games and that the employee "must be fanatical about cars and car culture, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the auto industry. In addition, you must have a strong working knowledge of vehicle mechanics and car setup."
To further confirm the team's development on a racing title, a LinkedIn profile from a Playground Game vehicle artist mentions work on "an undisclosed Xbox One project." More specifically, the project involves an "undisclosed next-gen Forza project."
Playground Games released Forza Horizon last year as the series' first open world racing title. Playground Games includes former employees from Codemasters, Bizarre Creations and even Black Rock Studios.
