Resident Evil 2 Story Trailer Showcases Finally Showcases Ada Wong

Capcom is going back and giving Resident Evil 2 a proper facelift. The video game remake was announced a ways back but it wasn’t until E3 2018 that the development studio showcased the game with a trailer along with gameplay footage.

So far it seems that Capcom is retaining the storyline and key plot points from the original PlayStation release. However, besides the visual improvements, it seems that the fixed camera point of views has been scrapped for an over-the-should camera. The game will still follow storylines revolving around Leon and Claire as they make their way through a heavily infected Raccoon City.

We’ve seen a few trailers released showcasing various aspects of the video game such as character highlights and gameplay footage. But for some gamers, it’s been curious as to if Capcom would highlight another series character favorite, Ada Wong. Recent rumors were circulating online that suggest Capcom had altered Ada’s costume which does seem to be the case as Ada drops the iconic red dress for a trench coat.

At any rate, Resident Evil 2 will be releasing into the market in just a few months so we don’t have to wait too much longer. For now, you can take a look at the latest trailer which features not only Ada Wong but William Birkin, Claire Redfield, and Leon Kennedy up above.
