State of Decay Heading to PC this Year

July 17, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

State of Decay to arrive on PC later this year.

State of Decay, the Xbox Live Arcade title focused around open world zombie survival, will release on the PC later this year.

State of Decay saw commercial success on Xbox Live and quickly became the fastest selling original title on Xbox Live arcade. Since launch, over half a million people purchased State of Decay which sold digitally for 1600 Microsoft points.

Following the success on Xbox, Undead Labs will now bring the zombie survival game to the PC. Although the PC version will not feature new content, PC owners can adjust video options for increased performance and improved visuals. Unfortunately, State of Decay will not come with any modding tools.

With the latest title update,"TU3", it will allow players to bring NPCs along on missions. Fans also requested the ability to put rucksacks into the back of vehicles, but that feature will possibly arrive in the future.

State of Decay will release on PC sometime this year.
